    IMHO..for the germans the war was already lost with their defeat at the gates of moscow..to my mind stalingrad and kursk just hastened its end.

    :kill: hehehe. stalingrad was the downfall of hitler's dreams, kursk solidified it, berlin finalised it, but moscow started it all. hehehe. :kill:

    :D hehehe. d-day brought the second front stalin wanted, caen and cherbourg made it possible to succeed, wacht am rhein threatened it, but remagen sealed the deal the west. hehehe. :D
