M 26 In Action

    I was watching a program last week on the History Channel(CAN) and they had show on about the war in Germany (the last days) It had footage of some of the late battles and in them was a M26 its the first time I have seen them on tape.

    I think i've seen that too, not that long ago. I think its were the M-26 is in Colonge? They showed some footage of a Sherman being hit and the commander rolling out of the hatch with his foot severed.

    I have also seen this documentary. Did you gusy watch that one tank burn?, I dont recall what tank it was but it wasnt a Sherman and it was in Cologne.

    It was Panther that got hit and they burned

    For three days. I only saw the last 5-10 minutes of it though.
