    Yes, the engine is original, it on that foto. In the Panther all original, except the
    observation glasses, the sightses, some bolts, hose and the like small items.

    I thought there was only one lPanther left in working condition would that make two? Or is teh Discovery Chanel program wrong again.

    Ofcoarse they are wrong...they are the Discovery Channel!
    Please tell my wife that they are often wrong or atleast not very accurate :p

    Thank you for sharing that "test-drive" with us.
    Out-standing.
    I do know the Patton Museum in Ft Knox, KY has a running Panther. They used to crank-up their running collection and drive them around in mock-battles on July 4th--our Independence Day.
    Of course that was pre--Nine-Eleven. I'm not sure if it still happens or not. I would truly LOVE to hear a running Maybach-engined Panther. It would be too-cool to actually hear that long-barreled 75 fire a round 'down-range.

    Tim--wondering what else you guys have hidden over in Russia?!

    There is also a running Panther in England (private collector) as well as a running JagdPanther (also a private collector). Rumour has it they will be on show at this years tankfest (but that is just rumour :D ).
