Tankdriver: Thank you for sharing that "test-drive" with us. Out-standing. I do know the Patton Museum in Ft Knox, KY has a running Panther. They used to crank-up their running collection and drive them around in mock-battles on July 4th--our Independence Day. Of course that was pre--Nine-Eleven. I'm not sure if it still happens or not. I would truly LOVE to hear a running Maybach-engined Panther. It would be too-cool to actually hear that long-barreled 75 fire a round 'down-range. Tim--wondering what else you guys have hidden over in Russia?!
There is also a running Panther in England (private collector) as well as a running JagdPanther (also a private collector). Rumour has it they will be on show at this years tankfest (but that is just rumour ).
Ome_Joop, thanks for the fotos and videos! it's great! Hoosier: We also were doing show, but Panther wasn't taking part in them. Some fotos: http://foto.rambler.ru/users/evmtvm/13/ http://foto.rambler.ru/users/evmtvm/10/
Great pics Tankdriver, many thanks! It's how they got the name - you can 'Discover' lots of mistakes while you watch!
