A small article about a report that identifies 26 laws allegially broken by the Bush Administration. What do you guys think, will anyone in the government take notice?

Edit: Looks like Rep. Conyers sealed his re-election with the report.

Just shows some of the laws the US has been breaking under George Bush I dont think it evan touches the parts of the Geneva conventions.

For example article 52, sentence 2.
    http://deoxy.org/wc/wc-proto.htm
America targeted water instillations which created a shortage of safe drinking water. That is just one example.

Also something about air strikes I cant remember something about civilain casualties worth less than that of tactical adventage. Something like that I cant recall exactly what it was. In Kosovo air strikes were authorized by JAG officers but in Iraq troops have the luxury of not needing the authorization by the JAG. Althought there is a technical loophole because there is no standard to judge that.

Thats ridiculous... Laws are there for a reason; why even have laws if you deem it "OK" to break them?

That said, I don't think that the idiot who wrote that article has any idea what he's talking about... George Bush cannot be held personally accountable for the instances of tortue in Iraq, as the soldier's actions were not under his sphere of influence... Guantanamo Bay, perhaps, but thats another matter altogether. However, if Dubya HAS actually broken any laws then he should be punished accordingly...
Just TRY to prove it :smok:

Usually I'm on the sceptic side but I know this much; that building did NOT collapse due to fire.
For whatever reason a lot of information isn't shared which IMHO is rarely good.

Loose Change is so poor it's tragic. I really don't want to know who could be gullible enough to believe that stuff. Or who spent all that time making up nonsense, probably actually believing in it too...

Well, Roel, common for all the conspiracy theorists is that they all have a book to sell.

It is not illigal to tap phone lines in the USA if you have a warrant.

And yes you can make an omelet without breakinbg an egg. Have someone else break it for you, from egg cartons, or powdered eggs.

It is laws broken under Bush administration and not Bush himself.

Stix I cannot view the video as my computer is unable to do that.

Just the site... It sounds like they're trying to find excuses to insult George Bush, by highlighting mistakes which may not in fact be his fault (or exists at all!)

Sorry Gunter I didnt mean to sound like I was saying yoru computer is silly :p

This crap is almost a sport. It's been going on ever since the US became a country. Now it's Bush bashing, before, it was Clinton bashing with all the same stuff about broken laws and backroom deals. Before that, it was Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, etc bashing. It's just more open now because of the vastness of the internet.
