As many of you noticed, the Tanks in World War 2 website was put on sale on eBay last month. Because I like this forum, and did not want to see it or the website to disappear, I decided to buy it from Jaroslav (crazypit).

I have no plans to make any changes to the way the forum currently works, and the current moderators are doing a fine job in taking care of the forum. I might make a few minor improvements along the way, though, but it should not be anything which seriously changes the way the forum works.

I hope that the forum members will continue to make this forum one of the major forums on armoured warfare.

    Best regards,
    Christian

Yesterday i couldn't connect to the forum. An upgrade i thought. Then i notice that the sign "for sale" is missing from the site's homepage. Well, i was pretty shaken then...However, i was wrong to consider the site closed down. That was really a great move from your side!

Congratulations to you are in order. I too attempted to log-in yesterday only to get a database-error.
I find myself checking this site frequently through the week... and enjoy the time spent here.
Thank you for insuring that will not be disrupted.

    See you on the boards.

    Well done

Thank you Christian. I had feared the worst yesterday but your news is a real bit of cheer.

Christian, you may want access to the subdomain that has been used for storage. If so pm me and I'll forward you ftp access details. Ricky, Roel and Skua have access as it is.

I see that you have changed the site name.

    Is Crazypit still about?

Hmmm... I messed around a bit, but I don't think I changed the name (not intentionally, anyway). What was it before, then?

Crazypit will continue to function as an admin, though I can't make any promises in regards to his actual presense on the forums.

Representing the daily Forum Administration I would just like to say, thank you, and congratulations, Christian. I hope we may finally stop worrying about our future and rid ourselves of some of our recurrent reliability and safety issues, now that the forum software is in the hands of an active and enthusiastic member.

Ah, okay - yes, I thought it'd be better if I included my own e-mail address ;)
