Sorry, it is quite unclear - one of the group builds should be a conversion.
So for one competition, everybody has to convert a basic model kit.

    Alright All!

The admin team and I have reached agreement upon the judgement of the models made during the game.
That means we can start! So keep a close eye on the Gaming Polls, #3 is still running, till sunday. #4 will decide on a specific vehicle, and once we chose that one, we´re off!
I wish all competitors good luck!

I will point out now, before the game starts, that I will be submitting a model, but that it will not be judged. I'm perfectly happy with that, as I do not entertain any delusion that I might win ;)

I'm under the impression the only prize is bragging rights, correct?

Also, how long will we have to complete our models?

    Yes, I think so.

either a month or 2 months - PanzerProfile probably has the answer to this! He has put in a lot of work in making sure this whole thing runs smoothly.

    Thank you, thank you!

As to your question, JCalhoun, I havent really decided yet. I would feel for just one month, but I also realize that one month maybe too short for people with busy lives. It's basically like this: a month would make people to efficiently use their time to enable them to finish in time, but 2 months would make them have so much time they can build an entire army. If you get what I mean... ;)

Ricky, what do you think, considering your expertise on 1/35 scale?

    My expertise is quite limited...

A month should be ok, unless anybody thinks they will need more time...

    alright then.
So far noone seems to have a problem with a month.
If everyone is ok with it, I´d like to settle it down on 1 month then.

One month may not be long enough. As was stated, some folks have busy lives. Also, for those of us who have limited hobby stores nearby, we will have to order a suitable kit and supplies which my take a few days or maybe even a week to arrive.

I propose we split the difference and make it an even 6 weeks.

If no one is against I would also like a little more time, 6 weeks would help alot

6 weeks sounds like a good amount of time to me.

OK 6 weeks but not a day longer! ;)

You might be right saying a month is too short, but I think 2 months really is too long. So I'm okay with 6 weeks.

    When will we start?

Your previous model building competition thing should be over now, how'bout we all build a German Puma?I won't be the one to set the starting date, but how about tomorrow? Your previous set limit of 6 weeks is good, but do we reveal what we have done on the last day or right after we have done it?

Welcome to the forum Sgt.Barger.GBIII is still underway. When all the models are submitted,we give the forum members a couple weeks to vote on a winner. When a winner is decided, that member then decides the topic of the next group build.Keep an eye on this area of the forum. We'd love to have you participate in GBIV.
