What is your favourite AFV of WWII, and why? I guess I will start since its my own topic.

One of my favourite AFV of WWII would be the SdKfz 234/2 (PUMA). It is a light and agile machine with a big enought gun to deal with some light tanks and most if not all troop transports. Also reminds me of more modern armoured cars. The SdKfz 234/1 would be close by because it is almost the same vehicle except with a 20mm cannon. Althought not large enought to deal with tanks but big enought to give hell to the enemy infantry.

In WWII, it'd be Tiger I, the Austrailian Setinel, the Panther, and the Firefly, to name a few.

I love the Sherman and it's variants.Probably because it's the first tank I could identify as a child. Also the first tank kit I built.
I also dig the Tiger I.It just looks badass!

I like the M2/M3 halftracks series, especially the M16 AA version.

Not exactly an AFV but I love the Dukw..... or perhaps the american 'superheavy' tank. don't remember it's name but it looked similar to a panther tank destroyer and had double treads

    T- something (Is in BF-1942 SWOWW2)

Sherman with a calopie (spelling) launcher.

You mean the T-28 tanks destroyer?

What we need to see is a showdown between a T-28 and a Maus...

Incidentally my favourite tanks of WWII are the Tiger I and the T-60

    :bang:
    Wrong m3
I meant the m3 stuart, or m3 honey.
The one I rode in is a late m3, with a m3a1 type turret, no funny hexagonal thiny for the commander, and without the turret basket of the m3a1 :D

That's the same tank I was talking about. Changes involved the hull and turret design but I do believe the gun remained the same throughout.
