Civilization welcomes the return of...

Panzerman! I have Internet access again. I switched host families (from Soweto) and arrived in Phalaborwa (north eastern corner of South Africa) yesterday. The new host family is great, a married couple with grown kids, nice house in the suburbs, mango tree, swimming pool, three dogs + parrot, good cooking, silent nights and my very own bathroom! Best of all, I'll be coming back here for some pedantic pummeling.

To cut a long story short, I think it is safe to say that I learned a hell of a lot in Soweto. I'll post up some of the good stories as time goes on.

How have you all been keeping anyway?
