This just in, all food warehouses and pertoleum supplies are in the hands of the BG and there will enough to last the military for the duration.

If the rebels are going to make this conflict, they will do it on foot and with food they pick up out of the ditches.

I'm just curious, how do you do this when i have already seized a greater part of your north-west?

With your food warehouses already in my control and a port to help me with petrol?

You must surely have bad intelligence. I'll bet you thought there were WMD's there too. ;) :p

Now that the food supplies are secured, we will let the burning of the lands begin. Anybody up for a barbeque? :p

No, it seems to be how it has always been. Best you can do is just roll with it, reclaim the warehouses.

Tagola recognizes the recent setback in the FFIL campaign, and has decided to intensify its operations in the southern borderlands with Leragostan to provide a distraction behind which the FFIL can reorganize and resume its offensive. Several divisions are now engaged in the looting of villages and the raiding of outposts across the border. The Leragostanian forces appear to be completely overwhelmed. M'delembe's strict no-rape policy to prevent racial mingling with foreign tribes is being widely disregarded.

Now that the fields are burning and the towns have been buried, the people are getting fed up with the anti-governemnt forces. They are tired of being hungry and the children are suffering. At least with the BG, there was food, clothing, shelter and jobs. The rebels have taken all of that away.

The BG is actively recruiting people from all over the country to for military units to drive out the ungrateful enemies.

If you want the warehouses, you will have to go through all the civilians standing in the bread lines!

Things are looking grim for Leragostan... The FFIL are reaping a heavy toll on what meagre production the country possesses... and the Tagola invasion is going too well... Obviously realising the danger gripping the country, Mbeki is forced to prioritise the most pressing issues of his countries management...

First on the list is, of course his own personal security

Taking his finest hooligans with guns, the LGA, Mbeki fortifies the capital of Tswane... Every street in the inner suburbs is militarised, and no one gets in or out... Naturally this gives the population the choice of starvation or disorderly evacuation... All of whom choose the latter... But at least Mbeki is safe, thank heavens... He knows that here is no conceivable way the FFIL could penetrate his fortifications, not unless some divine miracle tripled their numbers... No, he would allow the FFIL and the Tagolans to destroy each other... Then with his fresh LGA troops he would emerge from Tswane and crush what remained of them, might be lucky enough to take some Tagolan lands as well...

Smart as he was however, Mbeki (not being one to think of such things) has not taken into account the citizens' of Tswanes' reaction to his actions... As he sits in his palace in the Capitol, hundreds of thousands of disgruntled refugees are taking up arms in the name of the FFIL...

The BG's awful propaganda could not have angered Maliki more.Maliki was a poor farmer ten miles away from Tswane, and just 5 miles away fromFFIL controlled territory. What the BG had said about the people behind the government was just pure propaganda which American tourist passing by had told him was that the government had just did an iraqi information minister act.Maliki didn't understand, but whatever it was,it was clear that the government propaganda was seen as a joke by foreigners.

Far from being fed,Maliki's village does not have food or water. And everyday, more families began to move into FFIL territory where there is food and water as well as basic education given to FFIL fighter's children.

    Maliki decided.

He was going to join the FFIL for a better government.

    Mbekelele was happy.

Seizing the port city of Tiko was a smart move.Using diamonds as chips, the FFIL was able to acquire anti tank weapons, mortars and a latest addition to the FFIL arsenal, the soviet-made armoured vehicles given as a gift by a certain african nation.

    The die is cast.

    Tswane would be next.

Taking a play from Jean Bertrand Aristead and others of his ilk, the supreme ruler of the BG has decide to take sanctuary in South Africa. He will be living in a guarded compound with all the luxuries afforded to a great man.

As in true African fashion, those who wish to run the country will find that they are woefully unprepared for such a huge undertaking. They will begin fighting among themselves for whatever power and profit thay can squeeze from the situation while the people they pledged to liberate will find themselves trading one corrupt government for another. All the while the Great Unruffled sits back getting fat and chasing women. 'tis the way of life in Africa.

Oh yeah, one little thing. The BG sold the ports, utilities, and mineral rights to China. They will be here to take possession of what is legally theirs. ;)

Nice move Jody! Very nice move indeed. Who plays as China?

The dramatic unfolding of events in Leragostan has left Tagola with temporarily empty hands, but the object of its mission has been achieved. Largely because of the chaos caused by the Tagolan army, the BG has been put to flight and the country is now mostly in the hands of the FFIL. In order to facilitate the FFIL in upholding of their end of the bargain, M'delembe has decided to move his divisions forward into Leragostan to help them get organized. The whole campaign had been a rapidly changing series of events that had revived the Righteous Tyrant and had awoken his passions. Once the ports and mines are open, the Tagolan government and M'delembe could finally make their profit.

In a move that shocked most countries, FFIL diplomatic missions to China(sent when the revolution was in progres) and America has come back. With China renouncing the acquisition and America backing the economy as well as China's technology,FFIl looks set to deliver its promises.

In a treaty with China to futher develop Legorastan's resources,China has offered military aid against marauding Tagolan forces.

The opening address by the new leader of Legorastan,Mbkelele, was also received with a standing ovation in the Hague as calls to punish Tagola economicly goes heeded.

I think it would be great.

Too bad these folks don't know to what extent China is involved in Africa. I doubt things will go as smoothly as they were led to believe. ;)

General Xi Ngao, Overall Commander of the Chinese expeditionary force, was a happy man. His ambitious nature had been sated by his newest task. Excitement shimmered behind his steely eyes, sending an unnerving chill through the other officers at the planning table.

He outlined the mission in a brief dialogue that sprung from his mouth like a squirt of burning oil. The inferior people of Leragostan have proved themselves incapable of orderly revolution, and funding one is against our economic interests at this time. Instead, the countries vast resources would be extracted and utilized to the glory of Greater China untill they were no more.

Preliminary plans included the seizing and purging of "locations of interest". The term was a euphism for "location that in any way benefits China in its quest to steal resources". Ports, railway links, mines, and plantations would be secured by force. Chinese labour would be provided to minimize friction. Any interference would be dealt with ruthlessly and effectively. Food crops would be solely for export.

The Africans would be no serious threat: the view among the Expeditionary Force's leadership was that they were a band of raging monkeys.

For the Glory of Greater China, Xi Ngao told himself. He lit a cigar and leaned back in his chair.

The BG reminds the great China leader that the Achille's Heel of Africa is that none of the tribes will never consolidate and work together. They have warred with each other for thousands of years and will continue to do so. In fact, they hate each other so much that they can probably be bribed to fight each other for you. ;)

M'delembe was furious. The FFIL has made a promise, and despite the dedicated aid of the Tagolan army they seem unwilling to pay the price they had agreed upon. Agents in the newly founded capital were already reporting turmoil among the various tribes of Leragostan over the way the new government was to be organized. The Tagolan operatives made sure the current leader of the FFIL kept his seat and his base of power, because his word was the only thing that could get M'delembe his craved share in the diamond trade. But this was no way to go about the whole affair. Even M'delembe felt that he was getting too involved, now that his agents had assassinated various ambitious FFIL lieutenants and compromised many others to make sure Mbekelele could continue to rule.

Three spies, operating independently from each other, had reported an increase in Chinese activity and investment in Leragostan. Troops were inbound. It was clear that if Tagola wanted to profit from the struggle, now was the time. Any delay would ensure a loss of all benefits to China. While the Secret Service was occupied in manipulating the internal politics of the FFIL to keep Mbekelele in power, the Tagolan army made its own move. It withdrew from the Leragostanian countryside and dug in at the foot of the diamond-rich mountains, awaiting orders. M'delembe had to make sure he could take them on a day's notice if necessary.

I'll remind YOU that African tribes have often united to fight a common enemy... the Zulus and the Sothos fought the Apartheid government together, the Matabele and the Shona fought the Rhodesian government... only after their common enemy has fallen does infighting begin.

And I'll remind YOU that "Ngao" is a non-existent syllable in Mandarin... ;)
