The Canadian Navy in WW2

    And only one of the (British) suppled subs is working. Or is it none?

    Those subs are real topic for debate around HMC Dockyard Halifax.

    We should have just built our own.

    Just cam back from 6 weeks off Norfolk... Ive been to that USN base often and always amazes me at the sheer number of surface combatants they have....

    We have 34 ships in all.

    4 destroyers
    12 frigates
    2 replenishment auxillary vessels
    4 submarines
    12 coastal patrol vessels(the kind ill probably serve on in the naval reserve)

    I belive were classed as a lower middle weight...

    Were small but were also have the the only foreign class of ship the USN will allow into a Carrier Battlegroup.

    2 Classes, the 280s (Iroquois Class) and the CPF (Canadian Patrol Frigate)
