What is the Dennis memorial thing about?

(Feeling I've missed out on something really important here)

In future, may I suggest all modelling in the same scale? It makes judging easier & fairer.

Dennis Neff, who was known on the forum as 1950willys,died last month of cancer. He was one of the members that posted on a very regular basis in the hobbies section.I really do miss him. Also,we decided in GBI to leave the scale open to make it easier for members that build in a particular scale. In all fairness,BN's and my TD's are 1/35 scale, not 1/48.

This is not easy. Not to take anything away from the other entries, but I think BN's winter camo and PP's weathering really grab your attention. For me,it's a toss up between these two.At this time I just can't decide.

I am sorry to have missed Dennis' passing.

I can't remember ever having had a conversation with him, but my heartfelt condolonces go to his family.

    Hi ST,

I'm deeply sorry I've mistaken the scale of your model and the one of Boba Nette. As you can see in the heading post, I have changed it to the right scale immediately.
    My apologies!

    So to all:
SturmTigers's M-36 and Boba Nette's SU-85 are in 1/35 scale! and not in 1/48 as I previously announced.

who on earth voted for mine?!?

    I'm grateful, but surprised!

PP is off on holiday at the mo, so the final outcome will have to wait until he returns...
