Right, let's post our bias. We all have one, and it spices up our posts. Let's try to be honest and admit what bias we have...

Personally, I am pro-Western, at times unreasonably anti-Communist, have an "at times" unfounded fear of leftism, usually anti-religous. I have an excessive penchant for provocation.

My worst bias is probably my atheist attitude.
As with all things, but even more so when it comes to religion, I'd like some measure of proof before I'll consider it.

    Very good. :D

My wife had all her credit cards stolen a couple of years ago. I didn't bother reporting it to the police or credit card companies however, as the thief is spending less than my wife! ;)

Stix. You will have a long wait. For as far as I know, all religions rely on faith & not proof.

    EBAR'S ASSUMPTIONS AND BIAS

    1) That anyone behind the wheel of an SUV is an gobs  :angry:t that doesn't know how to drive.

    2) Assume that anyone behind the wheel of any motor vehicle is an idiot that doesn't know how to drive, until proven otherwise.

    3) There is nothing the British Government cannot make a hash of.

    4) And on a related note: Politicians come in three varieties, Corrupt, Competent, Corrupt and Competent.

    5) There is no such thing as idiot proof.

These are the ones that spring most readily to mind. :D

    I tend to exhibit "Anti-Intellectualism"

Personally I don't care what you are... A commie, a holocaust-denier, homosexual, a racist bigoted jewish nazi-sympathiser, or even if you're Belgian...

Just so long as you've got a little more to back up you're beliefs than just foucault

Well, I tend to be rather pro-Christian ;)

I try hard not to be biased, but can be quite pro-British, and I'm sure I have picked up a handful of biases during my lifetime!

I do tend to be quite anti-wrongness. If somebody is giving a view that seems just incorrect I sometimes can't help jumping in - even if I support their overall argument. I have a one-man crusade to bring correctness to the world! :D

I have to be careful. Being in law enforcement, I feel some of my attitudes getting a little jaded.

I have trouble dealing with idiots in general. Probably because I overdose on them at work, and that's just the staff!

Folks are mentioning religion or spirituality. I really don't care what anyone's personal preferences are. It shouldn't matter to me anyway whether you worship Christ, Buddha, Allah, or the Earth Goddess. Just don't try to force it on me.

I do have an intense dislike for politicians. I'd really like to see more statesmen in the world.

Crooked attorneys (barristers for you Brits) irk me as well.

Unlike the other posters here I have no bias whatsoever. Sorry, wish I did so I could feel like I belong but I just can't fake it.

I can't stand politicians in general, but I truly despise Democrats.
I also have no tolerance for hypocrites.
I can't stand television media types.
I really hate about 95% of everything that is televised on a daily basis.Especially all these so-called 'reality' shows.

prejudgeing people and bias thinking is sooo wrong .....lets try switching some common stereo types and see if they make sense ....chinese folks sure are good at danceing ,singing and love bbq ..jewish neighborhoods are run down ,high crime areas and the schools are jungles.....mormons love too drink ,party down and chase women ...black folks tend to be uptight ,straight laced and put a high value on book learning ...mexican workers are lazy goof offs and dont take their jobs seriously ...english public shool men are rude ,sloppy dressing hedonists who care nothing about what anyone thinks about them ..french waiters are always sincere , kind, courteous and so anxious to help tourists from abroad ..germans have natural rythem and break into wild dance at the slightest pretext ...italians are very quiet and withdrawn always keeping their emotions under control ...irishmen are taciturn ,sober killjoys whe despise drinking and fighting ..black folks are super penny pinchers ,and tend to ammass huge savengs in bank accounts ..see ...all these statements make perfact sense because stereotypes are wrong wrong wrong

    I don't like my wife's meatloaf, it's dry
Don't care for my boys buddies, they look like potheads :smok:
Don't care for my daughters boyfriend after seeing him in the store buying rubbers
I consider myself lucky though I can eat a pork chop, drink a beer and still go to heaven. :p
