Very interesting film that has been showing on the National Geographic channel... If you ever had any doubts as to just how terrible life in North Korea is, this video will expunge them  Particularily disturbing is the first minute of Part 2....

    Part 1: http://youtube.com/watch?v=uTNvaZu30UQ
    Part 2: http://youtube.com/watch?v=tmLJ8j5PIys& ... ed&search=

Personally I hope that one day, this pimple on the arse of all oppressive regimes will be removed

I think we were kind of hoping that China would flex her muscles and do something about it...

Maybe even Japan, who wants to be allowed to have 'the bomb' now, but I think China enjoys watching Japan **** her pants... ;) There's no way they will be allowed nuclear technology *legally*, but I guess the Japs should've thought about that before WWII

Not sure what the Russian policy is on North Korea but I can't seeing them being too helpful at all...

Guess, China is one of the most ruthless capitalist nations of the world. The govermant deals with brutal dictators in africa to get the treasures of the soil, despoiling the peoples future. China did nothing against the Sudan in the UN, coz they need the oil and don´t want to snub the sudanese gov. They even support Omar al-Bashir and the Sudanese government's proxy militias, so more then 400.000 people died coz china depends on sudan.

Guess if China is going to get a financial profit for saving the children, they
would engage. We should submit an offer to china, for every children they save, they will get 1000 bucks.

    Che.

China and Russia are having a good laugh in the six nations talks making the US look weak and impotent. Without Chinese support Kim's NK would collapse very quickly. China could get the concessions out of NK, but find it more to their advantage to keep the US and Japan jumpy.
