I hear shes on a hunger strike now too. Political prisoners are one thing, but a month in jail for a probation violation. Come on I hear shes in the special medical unit of the hospital now.
As I understand things, she's not on a Hunger strike as such, she's just not eating or sleeping. That said I've still got precisely zero sympathy for her.
I'm confused, was this case related to Paris Hilton, or a celebrity? I like to think that the world have been better of if that Hilton had never become commonly known let alone created.
I just heard something on the radio about this today. Apparently, she didn't eat or drink because that would make her go to the bathroom. Since there is (very) limited privacy, she was apparently concerned that someone would take her photo while she was on 'the throne!' Now, in our jail, cameras aren't allowed. Paparazzi definitely can't get in there. So, in order to get a photo of her on the toilet, it would have to be a guard, using a cell phone. Hmm.... Nobody would notice that! Not to mention the internal investigation later! What a twit!
i heard somewhere that her grandfather was very generous to the sheriff's election campaign. also i think paris needs to put in a cell with cellmate named bubba.
Solitary confinement would be more cruel for someone who is the closest you can get to an attention prostitute. Which makes me wonder, with all the stuff of her that already circulates on internet (supposedly, I'm glad I haven't seen it yet). I am honestly surprised she was afraid someone might take a picture of her on the loo, rather then being afraid someone wouldn't take a picture.
Aye, and it's even more common for them to find God! Silly me, I always thought he lived in churches! A lot of these people don't develop their medical and psychological problems in jail. They get incarcerated, claim indigent status, and have the taxpayers pay for their treatment.
'April in Paris' Is that a song or a dodgy video? :-? Ah well, this thread has deteriorated beyond the point of no return.
