Quite an interessting topic, how does your favourite Hot Dog look like ?

    I choose:

    - Quality baker´s Hot Dog roll
    - Meica Trueman´s (sausages) american hot dog style
    - Roasted onions
    - cucumbers slabs, not to thick
and as souce a mixture of ketchup/mayonnaise called rot/weiss by THOMY

...what the happy chinese guy is presenting on this picture :)

Wow, our hotdogs just have weiner, bun, and either ketchup and/or mustard.

Is that you in the picture ?

    wiener (what else)
small, soft, fresh bread, not to hard baked
gherkins (strange word, really, sounds more like the coussins of the orcs and goblins in LOTR)
    ketchup and mustard

Hamburger, the same, just replace the wiener by the burger and ad the roasted unions.

lool, the lad on the pic is appr. 14 years old, I´m twenty and not chinese btw^^ (would be glad if my parents would have a china restaurant) :D :smok: Honestly I prefer the soft bread not baked, so do I with the sausages eating ém cold, probaly coz I´m to lazy to cook ´em in the water hehe. Yeah, yeah, i wonder how I achieved my Abitur this summer, gotcha :D I´ve never tasted it with mustard, should be one attempt worth. I add to the hamburgers just a salad leaf, some cucumbers slabs and souce , hmm don´t know which souce exactly. When I eat a hamburger I visit my fav. agent of american culture imperialism in europe, McDo ^^

    Bon appetit,
    Che.

McDo, come on. That isn't the place for a good hamburger. I prefer the small markets and fairs. there's always a small trailer where they make decent hamburgers.

We have a great line of them in the UK made by a company called Westlers who, frustratingly, don't sell to retail but only to catering outlets so when I get a yen for one I have to go to the cinema to get satisfied.

    :x

PS. If anyone in the UK can correct me on my "trade only" statement, I'd be grateful to know where I can get some.

    :)

Either weiner or sausage. Topped with chilli, bacon, onions, garlic and mustard.

    Did someone say "Coney-dog?"
    Now we're talking!
Or perhaps one of "Buffalouies" char-cheddar Dogs.
    (Unique to a local eatery.)
