Thought you might like to see three of the new army stamps on sale at UK Post offices.

Those are cool. How much do they cost?

I have some Purple Heart stamps that the USPS put out this year.

    Hi

If you click on my link to it above you'll see the the buy now link - they give you all the options but the presentation pack is, as Merlin said, £3.90 - plus postage to USA is £2.15 - I expect the Royal Mail will accept any major credit card direct without need for Paypal.

PS. There's a prestige pack too.

The Presentation Pack is in my opinion the best bet, if you get stuck I'll get you one and post it on.

Just a quick note on stamp collecting in case somebody hasn't thought about it -

Why do stamp issuers encourage stamp collecting ?

'cause they sell more stamps - right ?

... well not quite - a postage stamp is payment for a service and has a cash value - unused stamps kept in collections are payment for services that will never be required or cash that will never be spent - it's similar with coin collecting - cunning buggers aren't they - I wish someone would pay me in advance for loads of jobs that I'll never have to do ...

    :p

Actually - I've been looking at jobs in local government - hmmm ... your point makes it look all the more attractive - doesn't actually fullfil very much of Maslow's Heirarchy Of Needs though ..... like I give a hoot.

    :)
