    testing

I think it's a touch of the supernatural Simon, just posted that tank pic on Cambrai, viewed it, left it, went back, not there! but OK on here!!
The only difference I can see is that there is a 'boxed X' on the right of 'Quote/edit and I can't get rid of it!
It's them RTR blokes, taking the 'P' out of the Cavalry again!!

    Royal Tank Regiment

The 'rifle' is actually a Besa mg, as used in most British tanks during WW2.

I have a pair of eyeglasses of that type; I wear them for Civil War reenacting.

Those glasses were issued to me in 45, then one pair (of two) replaced by German Eye Speciallist POW at Mestre in 46.
One pair I gave away to a John Lennon fan in the Beetle era and the pair shown were returned to me by a family member a couple of weeks ago. They have flat sides for wearing under a gas mask but take it from me it does not work!
Woody, the berets they wear are the original WW2 'Monti' berets, see young Merlin pic.
