...me to send you my latest research project! It is a presentation on PowerPoint about ALL the holders of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oakleaves, Swords and diamonds. It has photographs of every holder, the date they were awarded it and some data about their actions, as well as some photos of the medal itself. It is 939 KB of size and I was going to send it to you all, guys, but I thought: 'what if I fill their e-mail accounts and make some trouble, better ask them'. And here I am. Just tell me if you would like to have it. Just post it in here or whatever you want. I will be glad to share it with any of you (I made it in English, so it is for YOU).

Hello, Do you have a scan of Aldabert Schulz in color? I personally own his Oakleaves Swords with Diamonds. Fred Konig
How the hell did you get that? you own his knight's cross with oakleaves swords and diamonds but can't find his color photo? This is hard to beleive. where did you get it?
Will--thats not too impossible--I know who has Wolfgang Luths RK, Oaks, Swords and Diamonds. I actually got to touch a set of his Oaks and Swords in Germany when I visited. I have pice of them somewhere.
still to think that he out of all the other peopl in the would could have ended up with it is amazing. I bet it cost a fortune. Or he was realy nice to the guy How much would something like that cost anyway?
Friedrich-- I like to have your powerpoint presentation! My e-mail is: volkbert@xs4all.nl Fred-- I think it's better you tell us all the great items of your collection! My heart can't take it when I suddenly read things like: I own the oaks with swords and diamonds. Are you the conservator of a museum?
Hi Will, they DID cost a fortune. Get this, from what I was told by the person who has a spare set of Wolfgang Luths Oaks and swords--that he was offered by a millionaire from the USA, 1 million dollars for Luths set of Oaks and Swords--of course the offer was turned down--or else I would have never been able to see and touch them. Volkbert--go to the General ww2 Militaria section here and look in the topic HELLO, you will see a few pics of Freds amazing collection. July 20 wound badge for starters................
Carl- I saw the pictures! The wound badge for starters. Starters make me think of Weitzes site. On some in his opinion nice priced items he says something like: nice item for anfänger (starters). When I look at the price I feel less like an anfänger. Fred pictures make me feel I am someone who must start colecting yet! Enough complaining. This is a great hobby.
I totally agree with you my friend. I might have alot of items and a few of quality and from real Royalty but, I have nothing that can compare to these three items posted of his stuff. There are only 3 other collectors I know that MIGHT be able to match what he has--and thats a big might at that. I do know one collector who truely is in Freds collecting catagory, but--he keeps real quiet about his stuff. For instance, ill give an approximate total of what this man has with just these awards: Pour Le Merite Knights Cross Medal of Honor Victoria Cross appx total of these four that is in his collection is around 60. This doesnt include his other rarities. Im also not sure if he had any Hero of the Soviet Union medals, but imsure he does.
Hello William P, I am a VERY serious collector and also a very silent collector. I have been working on a reference book for some years now, and will be publishing it in the next 6-12 months. It will show most of my items, and several great color photos. I have just about every award now of the 3rd Reich. I am only missing the Arts and Science. I will be more than happy to post photos if anything you would like to see. Does anyone have a color photo of Schulz? Fred Konig
Hi Fred--i'll definately be buying your book, at one time I was going to do one on Shoulderboards and Collar Tabs but, it ran out of steam for lack of new sets. Im hoping that maybe I can get it re-started by using boards and tabs from Dave Suter's (Sarge) collection. Or if you are going to show something similar--you can use some of mine if you wish. Ive got a small but growing collection of nice ribbon bars as well and a few special items like: A 3-place Ribbon Bar once owned by Friedrich-Wilhelm von Pruessen, briefly (99 days) was Kaiser of Germany til he died from cancer. Also an 8 place bar that had belonged to The Grand Duke of Mecklinburg/Schwerin and a mint set of then Rittmeister, Ewald von Kleist, 5th Uhlan Kav Rgmt boards. Still--I have nothing that can compare to your nice stuff.
