Burying our heads in the sand and not recognising the root causes of our youngsters angst is getting us absoutely no where (and I'm not sayng that all our home grown terrorists are youths). One of the most interesting features of the ISIS recruitment files that Sky news managed to obtain and passed on to our security services (I think that was last year) was ISIS recording the vast majority of those applying, knew absolutely nothing about the Koran or could barely recite a passage from it.

I don't expect you to understand our social security system over here and how it has degenerated over recent decades and in truth I know little of your own these days. The US Navy base I used to work at has long since shut and unfortuantely I no longer have conversations with the US civilian psychologist who worked at my clinic so I haven't kept myself up to date on the state of your own health systems. They are not *your* youngsters. They are alien creatures who share little or nothing with the norms of western culture that you accept.

If they are not our youngsters, then they become wide open to becoming 'theirs' i.e. the property of the hate preachers. I'm glad I didn't have such a closed mind whilst medevacing your military personnel to RAF Lakenheath when they got into mental health difficulty.

It's hard to cut through that poli-correct speech. Does this mean he was born British of Libyan ancestry, or a Libyan migrant that is now British?

Every Muslim is a potential threat, they can change from being Dr. Jekyll to Mr. Hyde in a heartbeat. Its not their fault but their religious thoughts are inhumane and full of hatred.

Whatever you do cannot change them because they are subject to their dreams and illusions which are put in their head by their parents and fellow Muslims. It has nothing to do with whether they know Koran or not, because nearly every Muslim I've talked to has not read Koran, or read it as if its some sort of limerick.

An important thing is that every mosque is a mass producing Jihadist center, they are something like a masonic lodge, they will never allow outsiders to understand what they are really doing there.

Got to disagree with that one. It's not hard to find official videos by Grand Lodges showing you what happens during degrees, and the occasional tv programme. too.

 

That's what they want you to know, they don't talk real business on those videos, like a mosque, there are videos of people praying there, or Mullahs preaching, but they do the same too.

 

I just think it's flawed logic to assume they are 'one of us.' They aren't. There is an enormous cultural gap between their 8th century ideology and our 21st century world. Many of them can make that leap, but sadly, most of them fail or make only partial progress. You can pull up the polls yourself; a majority of Muslims, even in the west, believe that Sharia law must be imposed. You aren't going to change such an ideology of hate with some smiley-face social programs.

 

It was the Nazi's that made Jihad popular. Maybe we need to keep all the Germans out. Sounds fair.

Pakistan used to be part of India and Muslims lived with Indians for generations, they even ruled there as the Mughal Empire. But what happened in the end? They betrayed India and separated. Even their country's name indicates their hatred towards Indians, "Pak" means clean and "stan" is a suffix used for mentioning places, therefore it means "Land of the clean people", because they believe Indians and other infidels are unclean.

I once saw a feeble Pakistani oldman mumbling at an Indian shop, when I asked him what are you saying he told me "son, I am praying Allah to give me strength so I can slay a few of these infidels".

Looks like you don't know history of the world. Movies are not a good history class because of dramatizing, but i recommend you to watch Khartoum (1966), it saves you from reading hundreds of books and articles on this subject.

 

Just ask him where he/she is getting their information from. Unless I missed it, I don't see the mention of a film. No need to be condescending.

 

Sorry, I didn't mean to mock him, but he just said the funniest thing about Jihad I've ever heard. I've recently seen documentaries talking about Nazi relationship with Jihadists (e.g. showing Muslim leaders in waffen ss ranks...), but they never mentioned that it was the Nazis who revived the whole idea, and i thought he might have seen such things.

 

I get my history by studying historical accounts.You know books written by those who were there. Not American movies or American history books. Did you know the Nazi's were all hopped up on meth? I knew it 10 years ago.

"Jihad" is a fundamental part of Islam. It isn't always expressed violently but it is there. Can't see how the Nazis had much to do with it.
