Nothing said yet... but i would say a routine Patrol flight. about FB, about 2 weeks ago, it said upload a photo that shows your face, i've uploaded my photo, and yet im' waiting for their answer !!! it happened once more, 5 years ago ... but i could access my account in 3 days ...
The Tribune reports that the Su 22 crashed on a training flight in Iran. I thought the SU 22's were two-seater craft but only one reported killed. Not in combat.
I wonder if it was pilot error, or maintenance issues. The Su-22 is an older aircraft but if you take care of it frequently you shouldn't have an issue.
According to what that IRGC AF Spokeman Said, the Plane has 2 pilot, and had a bombing Training mission Somewhere in Fars Province. the RIO had Ejected and Landed with broken knee, Pilot tried to land Plane in the Safe Area, But Crushed during Landing.
That's a shame, trying to land anything with a difficulty bad enough to eject for is very risky, but now he's in better place....
