Expert Infantry Badge testing in WWII

Many years later, I was able to to recover my password here. We did not finish the website, but have shared the story with other places to memorialize him. We added in the pieces of the story that included his memory at a tree in our local park, and also that his body was eventually returned home, although the family never knew the full story. After many decades, we did get his name added to the Silver Star and Purple Heart in the memorial auditorium for the veterans here. His final surviving sibling saw his brother honored, and after his death earlier this year, I have become the keeper of his medals and his memory. This is the best record available online at this time.
