Hello everyone, I've decided to join you in this superb forum after a time of lurking around. I'm an Spanish aficionado to all WW2 related, although my knowledge is quite scattered and my background is not related at all. I guess that's the definition of amateur . My interests range from developments on technology during wartime (I currently have Paul Kennedy's "Engineers of Victory" shelved on cue, to be digested once finished with Beevor's account on the whole period) to general politics; unfortunately I'm not much inclined to strategy or tactical affairs. Maybe all your insights change such traits. My goal is to boost my knowledge on the period enough to be able to fulfill my other passion, which is writing, using a blog as preferred media. I have the feeling that the only way to really make any piece of knowledge of your own is writing on it. To finish, I'm sorry for my English, constantly under heavy improvement. Therefore I cheerfully appreciate any comments on my grammar and speech, the pickier the better . So, I salute you all from Spain, in the hope of being able to contribute to this great community soon. EDIT: Typo...
Glad to have you here, Ruben. Feel free to ask questions or pose answers to questions asked. There's lots to read and plenty of knowledgeable people about. Dive in.
Well, Spain is Southern to Europe or are you from Southern Spain ? Such a beautiful country, regardless welcome hereYour English is probably better than our collective English. Well, perhaps the Brits, Scots, Welsh, Picts, Jutes, Saxons and even the Normans (Still learning) do better than we Colonials. Gaines
