    I wanted to share with you all some of the items I own, left to my family from my grandfather who was on Admiral Halsey's Staff as his Personal Admiral Gig Driver as well as Flag detail. My grandfather followed Admiral Halsey from Battleship to Battleship throughout the war.     I see Field Marshall Blamey is mentioned in the documents...The only Australian General to reach the rank of Field Marshall. Nice.

    Really cool!

    Admiral Halsey attended the same High School I went to so when I first started getting into WW2 I looked him up as there is a memorial photo of him in the school.
