We'll have Peppy making them for days!! I only hope to get a few more non-Third Reich avatars before we dig into this bunch. We are already so 3R heavy, I'm not complaining, but I'm a proponent of balance.
I thought he was in need of some, looking at Peppy's avatar....Although I do LOVE it . But you're absolutely right Otto. I'll make a point looking for some. I am planning on providing Peppy with a bunch of US and British WW2 Bomb Group and Squadron pics/avatars. To counter Erich's JG and naval emblems... I came across this site when I was looking on info on Hans Waldmuller, whose pic is in my avatar. I have hardly any info on him...If someone knows...wait, I'll start another thread on him... [ 17. Excellent site there-alot of great pics that I might just have to pester Peppy about now...hmmmmm....
Yes, that was an excellent site. I want to have more funny dogs as avatars! /we want dogs, we want dogs!
Love the Molders/Galland pic, and if Peppy isnt making avatars of all these--please do two for me--I saw two very rarely seen pics of Rommel in there. They are titled rom4.jpg (Hes wearing a Steel Helmet) and the other is titled: rommel-p.jpg (Nice front view w/ his Knights Cross and PLM, and his Ribbon Bar.
Well, to be honest I think Peppy picked that avatar because, (he feels), the dog looks like Hitler. While I'd prefer a more WWII oriented avatar, (hint, hint), I honestly think we have only about 20 avatars, (instead of 300+), if it weren't for him, so Peppy can "wear" any avatar he pleases.
Great site. Think it's time I had a new face too. Maybe something with a bit of humour. ___________________ "What do you take me for, an idiot?" - General Charles de Gaulle (1890-1970), when a journalist asked him if he was happy
