I love these and yet I've never actually seen one...... They are so typical of the Battle of the Bulge - and I do have a copy of Hitler's Crawlin' Coffin.......
You not seen one at Beltring, Martin? Certainly been one or two present on years I think we've both been there. Big old site, though. One of the few places you could lose an HST. Splendid things at full chat. Couple of snaps from 2009: Allis M4. Similar to what Halftrackman is looking at: International M5: Hope you're gonna honour us with some restoration pictures when you get cracking, Halftrackman!
I thanks everyone for the replys, I got three of these, hope to make one nice m4 out of the three. This will be a lot of work, but its fun fun for me. Hope to send pictures when I start. I am also on the HMVF forum in England, they sure build and own nice tanks and m4 hst. I still have problem post picture on here,
Sigh ! Nope - must just be one of those (many) things I've missed. I'll have to make a special effort this year..... Yes indeed, do please keep us updated, halftrackman. That's a terrific restoration to be involved with.
It must be nice to have the skill and determination to do something like this. I'm envious of this kind of restoration. It's saving a bit of WW2 for future generations.
