I first "met" him when I saw him in Goldfinger. I was 16 and this was the first real "grown-up" movie my folks allowed me to see. I enjoyed him in all of the Bond pictures and yes, like most of you, if someone mentions James Bond, his visage is the one that comes up in my mind.. I loved his performance as an aging Robin Hood in "Robin and Marian". I raved over his performance in The Wind and the Lion ( real gun-nuts movie). And he just kept getting better as he got older. A fine old wine of an actor! I lust for the first Sean Connery film festival. Viva Bond! Viva Connery!

You have to admit, he could spot a "buckaroo" when he met one.

I'm not sure how familiar America is with the great Diana Rigg...Did they watch the Avengers?

I’m with Halftrack. Liked him in everything he was in. But to me he will always be Comrade Captain Marko Ramius when I was growing up.

    “One ping only please”.....

Yesterday I put on Last Crusade with the family on Netflix.

    This year just sucks.

Let's all remember he was in "Darby O'Gill and the Little People" way back in the 60s as well as a part in "The Longest Day"!
