"My Achin' Back", 41-29432, made an emergency landing on the beach near Loreta, Italy on 12 September 1944 with Mason's crew aboard. Fuel lines in left wing ruptured by flak - landing made with both the #1 and #2 engines out. Recovered by 15th AF maintenance team and returned to the 449th BG, 718th BS.
