    The photo above of the medal award is most likely for the Distinguished Flying Cross awarded Albert Isaacs for the 16 June 1944 mission to Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. 47th Wing Commander Hugo Rush is pinning the medal.

    Racy Tomato was lost on its 59th mission with the Frederick Orchard crew aboard. The crew turned back just prior to the target with the #2 engine feathered and later notified Air-Sea Rescue they were attempting to ditch in the Adriatic. No trace of the aircraft was found and all 9 aboard were lost.
