Eventually, it identified as a Yield. Strangest thing - I bought my parents house and my room became my daughters room. When she was around 17 she stayed home while we went of vacation and when we got home she let it slip she had a party. Okay no problem but she also said a couple cops were there. I said I hoped they didn't see the Stop sign she had hanging on the wall. She said they did but also the Speed Limit sign and the No Parking sign too. Kids! I didn't know about the recent acquisitions.
I don't trust anyone I don't know very well. I tolerate a lot more people, but trust is earned, not given automatically. Caution is the watch word when you're dealing with people who haven't earned your trust. That's the non-fortune-cookie maxim I live by.
"Your status in Hell is determined by the number of people who precede you with your name on their lips."
This weekend saw Australia's NRL (Rugby League) open its 2024 season in Las Vegas in an attempt to grow the game and revenue. Did anyone watch? NRL facing uphill battle to conquer the US, but claims a thrilling toehold in Las Vegas - ABC News
That's kinda like American Football isn't it? Without the foot ball and no body protection like the sissies here?
Actually yes...Too many people say AFL is like Rugby which really annoys AFL fans because its NOTHING like AFL. But IS more like NFL...Two sides face each other. There are two different Rugbys - Rugby Union - The running game. (which i played) usually for the private school boys. Wearing usually one or two colours: The Australian team The Wallabies are champions of the game. And Rugby League - For the uneducated thigs. They usually have three colours or more. The Australian team The Kangaroos - Here with the US Tomahawks...Australia is world champions of Rugby League too. Globally Union is the bigger game. NRL biggest hits for your enjoyment.
We have Swamps AKA Marshes up cheer. Oh and Bogs, we also have millions of acres of Forest. And thousands of miles of roads, trails and deer paths. Easy enough to get lost or lose something.
They'd probably thrive in all the water but it gets too cold up here for most critters. The minus 40 degrees we usually see each Winter has weeded out the weaker species.
