Anyhoo- Yup- my opinion- valid as anyone else: Oil is a byproduct of Earth mantle. High heat/pressure/secret minerals. Does not need eons to form.
I've looked into it a bit. Would like any info on how oil is formed, other than what I've read.
They try to scare us into an oil shortage. Remember the 70's? Always with the fear of no oil or the ozone hole, or Gore saying coasts would be under water...it never ends.
Until now.

Sounds like the cemetery for a convent/nunnery to me.
