Makes me wonder how this was fatal...Should survive the dive into the sea...Should be able to get out before sinking...My guess is the ship ran over him...Remember the movie Midway?

I'll see how this works. If the pictures don't come through I'll try the ol' IPhone : seems the cellphone accesses better than the tablet.

Hey Hey working great today. Miss Mitchell from last Fathers Day. Me pointing up to the guy who rocked my World and one from the next best seat in the house. They wouldn't allow me in the co-pilots seat due to some regulations or something

Three U-Boats missing until 1985 when found in a U-boat bunker in Hamburg. They are still there, entombed, under a car park!
The bunker, once a key part of the German naval infrastructure, had kept the submarines hidden for nearly 40 years.

These boats were all commissioned in 1944 but never made operational sorties.

In the middle of a heatwave here (or what passes for one), so been out and about with the old IR camera.
This is a 950nm shot of the Butt Well, Stirling's main water supply until a reservoir was built in the hills in the 1900s. I love the ghostly vibe these things give you.

Hottest we've had so far is 75F. That was last Friday when I was up the hills.
