    Over the weekend, I saw;

    The Wooden Horse w/ Leo Genn. A man in the hospital playing a wounded Australian was Peter Finch.

    After that I saw: The Colditz Story-love the movie and never tire of it. Besides a few favorites of mine are in it: Sir John Mills, Eric Portman, Theodor Bikel and Anton Differing.

    After that was another great; The One That Got Away w/ Hardy Kruger as: the one that got away ;-)) He played the role of: Franz von Werra-future Knights Cross Recipient and battlefield casualty ;-(

    Forgot to mention last nights hauls, The Horse Soldiers, Escape From Fort Bravo, and A Time For Killing.

    The first two were excellent and with excellent casts-director and such, the last one had a great cast wasted on a stupid story.

    More goodies this 105th anniversary of the start of the American Civil War. They started it off with: Alvarez Kelly, w/ William Holden, Richard Widmark, Howard Caine, Patrick O/Neil and Harry Carey Jr. Nice CW Western and great to see our boys win one for a change. Also, this movis IS based on an actual CAS Cav raid into Yankee lines stealing one of Gen Grants prized herds of Cattle.

    I recently caught a couple of episodes of Foyle's War. Didn't capture my interest when it was on before - but for some reason it did this time. Now I need to start at the beginning, I caught it in the middle, and watch it all.

    I'm finally able to watch The Pacific on HBO on my computer. I have three more episodes to go. I'm enjoying the portrayals, but it can't come close to reading the actual accounts.
