I thought I may as well set up a new thread for my photographs on my site, it is getting bigger daily though I have no idea how long that will continue. Take a look, the address is: www.geocities.com/black_sock_man/index If you have any feedback use the guest book or post it on here, I will add to this thread when I get more photographs up. I have quite a few more photos to add and if anyone has any suggestions for additional pages please let me know. Cheers, Stefan
You have a welldone site. I also like "the look" when you guys were in Sherwood Forrest. Yesssss--I know--you probably werent there but--thats the only name of a Forrest thats in England--that I know. Also Pg 2 of the Uniforms section didnt load up--I got some wierd message from Yohoo? I think it was? Anyway--nice site.
Carl, that would be Geocities being a prat, it should be ok now, I am getting more pages up this evening, essentially by the time you read this I should have a complete new section up under the title of 'action photographs'. I think some of the best photographs I have are on there. Thanks for the kind words Carl, wrong forest but right idea. I don't like the look of the site but its the best I can do on geocities. Take a look for the updated sections. I would be really greatful for any suggestions for improved captions as mine are rather dire.
Ill have to look tomorrow--ive been sitting here at the library on a stiff plastic chair so long--I think my legs are going to fall off. Ill check it when I get back tomorrow and--your quite welcome--it is a nice site. I wish the Hornblower series was available for rent around here--I feel like watching one of them.
Oops, sorry guys, found the problem, the link should be: www.geocities.com/black_sock_man/index.html Thanks again

Hey Stefan, Great pics, I've only been familiar with American Civil War reenactors the past few years. Never knew that WWII was reenacted that much. They were really good pics. Greg
Thanks Greg, it seems to be fairly popular in the UK and US, not so popular in Europe for obvious reasons. Strangely enough over here there seem to be more German groups than Allied, probably because unless you go for Allied Airborn the German kit is far cooler than anything you will get. I have actually thought about going into civil war re-enacting and I have looked into Napoleonic but it all seems a little expensive for me even compared to SS kit. I may think about it when I am older and getting a proper wage
The site actually made my computer go all weird, so I still didn't get to have a gander at it unfortunately Stefan.
Once it worked, but the other time it showed a page that had a cowboy dry-humping a mailbox. Disturbing. Your group looks great. I like the fact that you have some young guys. I think most of us are closer to 30 than anything else.
Seems like here where in Civil War reenactments there are alot more Confederates than Union, even though almost all the battles were the other way around. Some have to switch sides to make it look more realistic. Greg
Greg, if you want to see a good ww2 reenactment, there is one in Lowell Indiana. Its about an hour south of chicago. I'll post a link to the webpage about it soon. If you have a chance to make it I'd advise anyone to go to this event. Doc are you gonna be there this year?
