    4. As a result of the many Japanese ships sunk trying to resupply their troops, the waters off Guadalcanal are among the most popular scuba diving sites in the world. Many of these scuba tourists are Japanese.

    Not true. Most ships that were sunk were in deep water, far beyond the reach of scuba divers.

    I knew about the dock incident. It would be interesting to see the words of wisdom the USMC left on the docks. Kilroy was here, it wasn't.

    MacArthur had the same issue in Australia when the first US infantry divisions arrived. But he wasnt so diplomatic about it.
