i am researching my wifes uncle who died 8th march 1945 in lancaster ng-186 on operation dessau and who we think but have no confirmation died in the plane some of the crew were murdered after bailing out. name donald sheppard aircraft gunner rank sergeant.may have crashed in buttstadt. any files or photos of the squadron and missions 1943-45 will be gratefully appreciated. i am trying to make a familly file on donald and what he did
