Firstly may I say hello and introduce myself for while I've previously just been a visitor mainly interested in German aircraft. Now something I have recently obtained requires some information from you experts. Thank you.

On my travels of the northwest flea markets I came across these two gauges, obviously from an aircraft but which one/ones?

The altimeter has the following markings/serial no on the dial face:

    ' MK X III C no 9556/40'

    'S S & S Ltd. LONDON
    '.

On the rear: 'REF NO. 6A/445'

There is a brass cover slipped over the tube at the rear of the altimeter.

The other pressure gauge is marked on a label at the rear:

    'PRESSURE GAUGE
    TYPE NO KPB-01 01K
    SERIAL NO. BP124
    '

On the dial face in green is marked:
    'DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE GAUGE.
    KELVIN HUGHES
    KPB 101K
    '

Any information on these gauges, especially what type of aircraft they came from, would be most welcomed.

    Thank you.
