Stupid question... It's Able, Baker, ?????, Dog, Easy, Fox and so on..., but what is the C-word? I can't remember no matter how much I think about it...

A lovely joke: An old lady at the doctor: "What's the name of that German guy who's lving with me and hides everything I need?" "Alzheimer, madam, Alzheimer..."
Alzheimer So, we have a subject for sick jokes now do we? You think Alzeimers is funny? Let us all hope and pray that you never have to nurse a loved one who suffers from it. God help you, you'll need him.
Hey Trackpin, my Grandma has Alzhiemers. Luckily my Grandad is still able to care for her, but he's 82 now...
alzheimers Thank you Ricky for your understanding, when you can see people, relatives or old friends that you respect, suffering in this way,and even more so for the carers that look atfer them you wonder why? Old men and women that fought through the war years, brought up families do not deserve to end their lives in this way. More than that, people on this Forum who submit what they consider to be funny jokes should consider this. Do they make jokes about old people who are still suffering from battle stress of 60 years ago? People who do not know what the future years hold in store for them, let us hope that it does not happen to them. As a new comer to this Forum I am surprised and saddened.
Re: alzheimers Death is never a nice thing no matter how it comes about, but life is for the living and some times sick humour is the only thing to help. In the forces and no doubt the emergency services Police, etc you see some things which people in normal jobs don't see. It is not an excuse but how can you see attrocities one day then try to go to a school and talk to small children as to why they sould join the army, navy or airforce. Some times it is not easy to talk about it and sick jokes do help you through these things. Somethings I have seen and some my friends have talked about in drunken moments shouldn't see, but they do. Don't judge others by what you think is normal because to others it is not. P.S. my father died from cancer a few years ago and I still tell jokes about it, it does help at times.
about 15 years aqgo here in the states we have about 500,000 cases of alzheimers but now we gave over 5,000,000, that will eat alllthe health care money, how about in another 10 years?
I know close to nothing about Alzheimers. Has the cause of Alzheimers been found? Are there any treatments?
nobody really knows the origine of Alzheimers, some belive somekind of proteine that blocks the nerves comunication. and about cure, I hears that some univercities are experimenting with the venom of the gila monster, and shows some progres on the treatment
I'm missing a few myself, on the old WW2 system. I know Able, Baker, Charlie, Dog, Easy, Fox, George, How, Item, Jig, King, Love, Mike, Nan, Oboe, Peter, Queen, Roger, Tare, Uncle, Victor, William - but who knows the proper words for X, Y and Z? As some may have noticed, the ones I do know were used for planning Overlord; they are the assault areas. The first seven are Omaha, H through K is Gold, L through N is Juno, O through R is Sword and T through W is Utah.
Alzheimers is a terrible disease. Last week they diagnosed someone in my family with it. I just cannot remember who it was! :smok:
Re: Alzheimer There's nothing in the world that couldn't be for laugh. You can't take everything so seriously. My grandfather also had Alzheimer. He was in a comunist concentration camp and worked in uranium mine. I don't think that some joke could insult any of those people...
there is this aussi comic , "steady eddie " he's got cerebral palsy and make evil jokes about it . when asked why ... he answered that he tried to shoot himself but he only ran out of ammos
