Like most other's here I have been trying to find a window to the past,to discover things that I wasn't wise enough to know I would want to know back when I could have gotten the details straight from the horses mouth. In my search, much to my surprise,I have found a small, not very complete diary. On some pages it is labeled "addressee's of boys I been with in the Army. Not really any good info just a list of fellow soldiers. Some have more info than other's.

I apologize for any mistakes.Grandfather's penmanship wasn't the best.Their were others but they were not very legible.Their was also a rather long list of girls address's but I won't post them.I realize it would be a monumental coincidence but if by any chance someone here recognizes one of these names and might have any pics with a reference to my grandfather,Loyd F Ooten or just plain old Ooten.I would greatly appreciate it being posted. He served in the CBI theater with the 12th Armored Div.
