I know its not WWII but it is a war film.

I am big big into the 3 kingdoms so i just had to see this film, anyway i got to see the full 280 min version today and it was really good(for me anyway but i already knew who everybody was).

    Anybody got opinions on it?

Well its a John Woo film set around the fall of the Han dynasty and the beginning of the 3 kingdoms circa 200ad.

Its a great big epic that follows the battle of Chi Bi and the events leading up to it,like good war epics it follows the timeline pretty close(tora tora tora, midway)but in the second half of the film it plays very loose with some of the facts(ie the included female protagonists who had nothing to do with the battle end out being perhaps the 2 most pivitol figures).

Its a good show but early on the subtitles seem to move fast, its the most expensive film in chinese film history but it really shows. If you like battlefield action you will like it.

The youtube problem could be to do with your security settings, either that or its a java or flash problem,it was only a trailer anyway.

I looked at the film again today and maybe there is a little more artistic licence than i first thought..

Thanks again and I think your correct. I remember getting a message saying something about a flash problem-or something like that? I normally don't loook at utube for much of anything-but this sounded worth trying to see. This and that Hitler knows that MJ is dead, thread.

Thanks for that. I'll have to ask my brother if I can do so with the current service we have.
