I am doing my Dad a shadow box of his service in the war. I am trying to replace some of his missing medals. The sheet I received from the Navy Personnel command office says he earned a "Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal 1 bronze star.....what does the 1 bronze star mean? I can get a replacement medal, but what is and where does the star go? Thanks
