Heres some of my pictures i took over the weekend at a show and i do have alot more but i just put these up because they stood out from the rest and also the B-24 in these photos is the only 24 flying today. There are a few pics i wanted to talk about quick, one picture of a WWII Vet looking at the back gunner of a B-24, he was the rear gunner of the B-24 and just watching him look at those guns brought back alot of memorys and he said when the planes came in you only had 43 seconds to figure out what you where going to do before getting shot at. Another picture of a Vet in from of the B-17 he was a pilot of the B-17 and a picture of a vet next to the B-24 and he was a 24 pilot and theres a picture of alot of vets and most were gunners in the bombers or pilots and there was even a Flying Tiger Pilot but after the picture was taking i couldnt find him. If i had $$$ i could have took a flight in one of these planes but it cost like $425 and heres a link for the Schedule so you can see if these guys are coming to your area. http://www.collingsfoundation.org/cf_schedule-wof.htm Hope everyone enjoys and i do have these pictures in way bigger sizes if anyone wants a bigger picture.
Thanks Skipper im glad you like the pictures and i try more and more to be a better photographer and Slipdigit theres nothing better then being around some WWII Vets and some bombers.
Yeah it was nice to walk through and i would of love to ride in it but cant afford it. How was it when you flew in it?
Great pics Franco! I caught the show in Florida last year and this year in Florida. I didn't go up in them either, can't justify that high seat price! Thanks for sharing!!
Did you get to walk inside of them? it was $12 to get into area where planes were then you can go into the planes as many times as you want.
I sure did! It was great too! This past year my Dad and a few of his buddies went with me so that made it even more fun! We even saw the P51 flying around! Here is the link to that thread. http://www.ww2f.com/wwii-today/29372-my-walk-through-b24-p51-pics-well.html http://www.ww2f.com/wwii-today/21774-my-walk-thru-b-17-a.html

I also got a picture with 2 tuskegee airmen last yr and a b-25 pilot and a top turret gunner of a 17 and some photos wit a guy that was on Iwo Jima and another guy that was in the battle of the bulge and also got them all to sign the photos to witch i thought was great
