I'm trying to find ANY information on a B-17.

The name of the bomber is either "Capital X" or "Capitol X", I don't know which variation of Capit it is.

It's a G variant B-17 and was brought over to England later into the war. It was also part of the 8th AAF, but I don't know the bomb group.

If anyone could give me information such as crew, missions, or any information what so ever, I would greatly appreciate it.

A serial number would help alot. All the records are kept by the aircraft serial while nothing is based on its nickname.

Don't have a serial number, and not sure if I could obtain one.
