This is a blog about my hometown, Geleen in the province Limburg in the south east of the Netherlands. A mistake by the allies killed more people then the Nazi's did, In October 1942.

civilian deaths were much greater than military deaths...also, there were more effects on milions of more civilians....lost homes, lost communities, lost families. forced to move out of their homeland, etc......they usually suffer more in the wars
