The pictures certainly look good - but I'd like to see and feel them to compare with the originals.

Not cheap, though - about five times what I paid for real deact ones ten years ago !

I had a blank firing airborne sten for re-enactment that was an original with a firing pin and a hole drilled in the barrell top to exhaust the gases...

Very dodgy (like the photocopy certificate I got with it...) but it fired a dream on auto...

Martin, they are cheap compared to a real live firing one.

I take the point, panzergrenadiere ( not cheap, this re-enacting lark, is it ? ;) )

They are very pretty, not sure what the legality would be over here (I know blank firers are legal over here but I think you would have to get the specifics checked with the home office) but they should be ok in the US. I'd love to get my hands on one!

Hey there mate, good to see you around, I have been on the forums, lingering in the background, but having to focus rather more on non WW2 history courtesy of my degree.

Glad to see the living history is still going well!
