Blechley Park

    Has anyone visited Bletchley Park as I was thinking of going there some time this year if anyone has is it a good day out?

    It's worth a trip as it is such a historic place....you'll certainly find it more interesting if you have a particular interest in ULTRA. Hut Six is still there, although looking a little ramshackle.

    There are also some low-key displays of military vehicles etc although to be honest it's quite a while since I had an in-depth look around.

    They also used to host a special open day/miltaria fair in the Summer which was well worth going to....

    Thanks Martin yes i do have a interest in ULTRA thanks to the BBC series from the 1970's The Secret War one episode called Still Secret was all about ULTRA and Bletchley Park.

    The manager of our local footie team has a coffe mug bought at Bletchley. He is known for beeing a good tactician....
