Does anyone have any? I have only a few, but I like them. Unlike the poor craftmanship of the US medals in comparison the British awards are heavy and contain silver. Here is a victory medal from WWI.

I've been collecting British medals ever since I was a kid in the 70s.

The one you have pictured above is not a Victory Medal, but the British War Medal. It was struck in Silver and each one was named. There were over 8 and a half million issued.

These days they fetch high prices; you only have to look at Ebay!

The last couple of years...alot of "Big Gun" third reich collectors have switched to collecting (hoarding) British medals. They are gaining in collector popularity daily.

I've even taken a small interest in them
