Hey i'm back again to ask for some help. I've decided it would be a good idea to build a model/diaroma of a peice of technology that was used in ww2. I'll be using only simple items such as wood, glue, paint etc. Hardwork isn't a problem. I don't want to go and buy a kit and put it together. I'm thinking maybe a type of landing boat could be easy to make.
A diorama is usually scenery - an area/town/landscape. A model, on the other hand, is what you are talking about. I'd say a boat would be easiest given materials/shape/complexity.
yeah i was thinking a simple landing craft. I'm not going to try to build a mark 2 spitifire althought something a bit challangin' would be fun. hmm this might be a bit too hard to build THE SMALL BOAT NAVY in VIETNAM - Narrated by Raymond Burr

wow cheers for the link. I'd love to build something like http://lcoat.tripod.com/BenBowFl.jpg http://lcoat.tripod.com/crsrhiei.jpg I need to find something that australians were invovled with. Hmm I guess once I find a ship i'll need to find out all the measurements if i'm doing scale?
sorry about the bump, i went and had a look at a local hobby shop and i'm not after a kit. I'd really like to use wood and build it from the dirt. I just need to find something that's easy enough to build :/
thanks for the suggestion mate, but i don't think it's a legit technology that influened the war.. but it would be super easy to make
