Hi, Please help! My grandma has found a military ID bracelet in her father's belongings that has his name, rank & serial number on the outside and her name inscribed on the inside. She wants to know if he would have been likely to have ID bracelets made for each of his children (she has never seen or heard of others with her siblings' names), and/or if it was common practice for the men to inscribe one of their children's names in their own bracelets? It's hard to tell if it was made for a grown man or not -- if so, he had a relatively small wrist; on the other hand, it stays on but is pretty loose on me, an average-sized woman. I think this is pretty important to my grandma, who's not really likely to be around much longer; any clues would be highly appreciated!!!
Can you take a photo and scan it for us? Seeing it might be helpful in identifying it and maybe get more information.
