    Guys,

Can anyone tell me whether the collar rank badges worn by the SS other ranks, where silver or white?

if you are meaning the vertical stripe(s) then they were silver threaded.
But I suppose white threaded ones for late war examples are possible.

Am not an SS collector but intrigued by the question lol.

"Early SS collar insignia for enlisted men and NCOs was initially piped in silver/black twisted cord but this piping was discontinued probably for reasons of economy. The collar patches of officers and some N COs, who were officer candidates, were trimmed in silver cord. SS Generals' collar insignia were also trimmed in silver cord. "

Cheers Herr, I assume then that memebers of the British Free Corps, would have worn white, given that they didn`t come into existance until very late in the war?
