colour footage of ww2 aircraft carriers..

    The majority of that is from a wartime documentary called Fighting Lady. It was filmed aboard CV-10 Yorktown during 1943 and 1944 and includes footage of the Marianas Turkey Shoot. (Or the Battle of the Phillippine Sea, if you prefer.) The very first shot of the LiveLeak film is a neat one, though. If you look close you can make out CV-6 in the back row. Also neat to see all the carriers in the MS-21, which I rather prefer to the later dazzle schemes.
